Coaching Seminar 19th of March

Limerick Triathlon Club will be running some evening seminars over the coming months. Limerick Triathlon Club will be running a free evening seminar on the 19th of March. This will comprise of 3 speakers in various fields giving a talk followed by a Q and A session with each speaker. The speakers on the night will be Bryan Keane (elite triathlete) Tom Comyns (strength and conditioning coach with Munster rugby) and our own Lynne Algar (triathlon Ireland) this seminar will take place on Friday 19th of March at 7.15 pm in Kilmurry Hall on the UL campus next to the track.

NEWPORT AC 10k run/6k walk

Registration on the day from 12-1.30pm at the Newport Community Centre

Course: The walk takes you from the Communtiy Centre throught the town to the Clare Glens and back and the run is a loop past the Clare Glens on a 'rolling course' and back in to the Town via the Murroe road.

Junior Club Training Notice, No training on the 20th

Training is cancelled for the Juniors this coming Saturday 20th February - training resumes as normal Saturday 27th February.

For any of the Juniors who might be interested, Predator Tri Club www.predatortriclub.ie are running a Kids Duathlon at Clarenbridge on the 7th March for all age groups. Short runs and cycle for u14's. Start time is 10.30 sign up on the day between 9.30 and 10.15. Entry fee €5.00.

Volunteers needed for Sunday's duathlon

The 2nd Duathlon is taking place this Sunday, February 21st.

Volunteers are needed for the transition set up on Saturday at 3pm in St Enda's.

Volunteers are also needed for Marshaling at the race on Sunday.

Rowing Club Run Results #9

Results

Last night was the final race in the Rowing Club run series. It was -1 degrees while we were racing - BRRRR! This didn't stop competitors putting in some fast times - the whole field broke 50mins for the 10km!

Liz thanked LTC members for their support and will have the overall results together next week.

Our first days training commenced today 12 kids showed up with which i was delighted. I was afraid it would only be "Team Yelverton".

While there were 12 kids there I think there was about 50 parents spectating no pressure there!! Thanks for the support lads. I think some of the parents may have learned a thing or two today!!

Hi All,

Looking for volunteers for set up for the Duathlons. Meeting up in St Enda's at 1.30pm so should be all done in time for Ireland Italy Rugby match at 2.30pm!!

Also if anybody if around on Sunday to help out marshalling for the Duathlons please contact me.
