5am: the alarm goes off, I look at my watch and think ‘ wow 3 shaggin hrs sleep, glad I got 12hrs the night before!’. Quick shower, got dressed and headed to Ironman city (oh, I can’t call it that as it’s not an Ironman.....like hell it’s not..!, ah well don’t think they’ll sue me)
Tale of a DNF
2 years ago I wrote a race report after completing IM Austria when I was full of the joys of spring and feeling on top of the world. This time it’s a little different but important for myself to put down my thoughts on paper (so to speak).
