Has to be Youghal sprint distance. (Always do well there,- mighte be the fact that swim is never as long as it should be!!).

Joey Hannon 05, in with elite swimmers looked up with 100m to go and pool empty.

Get my entry in on time so that I can do a few races.

Q.9 What does your significant other thing about all this training?
Doesn't complain too much

Q.10 Can you remember your first race? Explain what happened?
Bonmahon Sprint Distance, According to eye witnesses I zigzagged from shore out to sea and back again. (It was a straight swim parallel to shore) after that things went much better

Q.11 You swim, cycle and run, why not play golf or chess?
Do play chess but find it hard to get oppenents, will take up golf when i get too old to do sport.  "Golf to borrow a quote is a great way to ruin a good walk

Always enjoy beating Barry K, Emmett and more recently Mike Lane

Q. 13 Christmas is over did you party or stick to the plan?
Stuck to the plan, not a major fan of xmas.

Q. 14 The last time you were out on the bike were did you really what to be?
On the Alp D’Huez just getting ready to drop my main rival for the Maillot Jaune

Q.15 Would you watch JAWS before a sea race?
Yes is racing in Ireland, mite give it further consideration if racing in Aus.

Not usually, if pressed Seven Nation Army by White Stripes

Q.17 What is your pet hate about triathlons?
Having to enter a race 6 months in advance because it has become so trendy to do triathlons.

Q.18 What do you think about when racing?
Try to focus on catching person in front, and kept telling myself that its normal to be in this pain.

Q.20 What advice would you give a new comer to the sport?

Anyone who tells you that they aren’t doing much is lying and don’t get carried away with training.  Rome wasn’t built in a day.
